On the 9th of June, 2023 in Ntendezi parish the Unity and Reconciliation day was celebrated, where 8 perpetrators and 19 survivors of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsis ended their educational journey. During the Eucharistic celebration presided by Mgr Ignace KABERA, Vicar General of Cyangugu Diocese ,the perpetrators asked for for forgiveness and the survivors provided pordon . After mass a a ceremony of conviviality took place in which differents messaages were given.
